Girls Who Code
Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does.
Girls Who Code has been leading efforts to close the gender gap in tech for seven years. Our work is already making a difference. They’ve reached 185,000 girls in all 50 states, and their college-aged alumni are majoring in computer science at a rate 15 times the national average.
Our #1 commitment may be creating gorgeous websites for entrepreneurs, but we’re also committed to helping girls and women build the skills they need to experience awesome futures. This is why we make ongoing donations to Girls Who Code, a national non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. Our hope is to encourage girls to become interested in tech and build upon their ability to code so employment in computer science is closer to 50-50.
